Electrolux: to launch premium brand AEG in China
(CercleFinance.com) - Electrolux has entered into a joint venture with China's Midea to launch the premium AEG brand in the country, the Swedish home appliances firm said.
The first AEG store in China will open in June, with the company also planning to open a flagship store in Guangzhou in August and a second wave of product launches in October.
The brand was officially launched yesterday at the Appliance & Electronics World Expo in Shanghai.
In China, Electrolux already markets appliances under the Electrolux and Zanussi brands.
