Electrolux: French watchdog sends statement of objections
(CercleFinance.com) - The French Competition Authority has sent Electrolux and and other appliance manufacturers a statement of objections regarding their prices on large domestic appliances in France, the Swedish company said on Wednesday.
The letter alleges that Electrolux and rivals have coordinated their prices of large domestic appliances in France over the period September 2006 to April 2009, the group said.
Electrolux does not rule out that the outcome could have a significant impact on its results and cash flow.
"At this stage it is however not possible to evaluate the extent of such an impact," it added.
