Carnival: Costa Cruises resume in September
(CercleFinance.com) - The cruise operator Carnival announces that its subsidiary Costa Cruises plans to gradually restart its activities from Italian ports from 6 September, having obtained approval from the Italian Government on its new health protocol.
Costa Deliziosa will leave the port of Trieste on 6 September, travelling to Greece, and will be followed by Costa Diadema, which will leave Genoa on 19 September for a seven-day cruise in the Western Mediterranean.
However, its subsidiary P&O Cruises is extending the suspension of its activities until 12 November, and has cancelled two long cruises that were due to start in January next year, after considering projections from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO).
