Equinor: signs sales agreement with ENO
(CercleFinance.com) - Equinor has signed an agreement to sell a 10% stake in the assets of Dogger Bank A (1,200 MW) and Dogger Bank B (1,200 MW) to Eni.
As part of this deal, Eni also entered into an agreement to purchase a 10% stake in the assets of Dogger Bank A and Dogger Bank B from SSE, under the same conditions.
Following this deal, the new global participation in Dogger Bank A and Dogger Bank B will be as follows: SSE Renewables (40%), Equinor (40%) and Eni (20%).
This is Equinor's third offshore wind transaction in under two years. The three transactions combined (disposals of unexploited interests in the Arkona, Empire Wind/Beacon Wind, and Dogger Bank A and B projects) generated an accounting gain of around 1.5 billion dollars, Equinor said.
