Equinor: awards engineering contract to TechnipFMC
(CercleFinance.com) - Franco-American oil services firm TechnipFMC said on Monday that it has been awarded a "significant" engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract by Norway's Equinor.
The deal concerns the Breidablikk project, a tie-back to the existing Grane platform, in the North Sea, and includes an option for a subsea installation located in an area close to the Grane field.
TechnipFMC said it will supply flexible jumpers and rigid pipelines as well as pipeline installation work, under the contract.
The Breidablikk project still requires final approval by Norwegian authorities, noted TechnipFMC, for which a "significant" deal is worth between 75 million dollars and 250 million dollars.
