Statoil: contracts in northern Norway
(CercleFinance.com) - Norwegian oil major Statoil this morning announced that it has been awarded contracts to develop Askeladd's offshore assets, which is located in the north of the country.
On the one hand, the installation of a pipeline with a diameter of 20 inches that is 44 km long will be entrusted to the oil services group Subsea 7. The pipeline will connect Askeladd to the Snøhvit field and should be completed in the summer of 2019.
On the other hand, next year Ocean Installer will be responsible for installing submarine umbilical systems, collectors, and will ensure the connection of all equipment.
