Hydro: names former Alcoa executive as unit head
(CercleFinance.com) - Norwegian aluminium company Hydro said it has named former Alcoa executive Paul Warton as its executive vice president for its extruded solutions business.
Warton, 59, will report to CEO Hilde Merete Aasheim and join the management board, starting 1 February 2021. He will replace Egil Hogna, who will leave Hydro to become CEO at Nordic consultancy firm Norconsult, the group said.
Warton, who holds an MBA from the London Business School, has worked in France-based aluminium producer Constellium since 2010, where he is currently global business unit president for the automotive structures and industry unit.
