Norsk Hydro: closes long-term power supply deal for plants
(CercleFinance.com) - Norwegian aluminium company Norsk Hydro has signed a long-term power contract with Norwegian power producer Statkraft, securing the power supply for its aluminium plants from 2020 onwards, the group said on Monday.
The new long-term power contract has been signed for the annual supply of 0.75 terawatt hours (TWh) from 2021 to 2030 and 1 TWh from 2031 to 2038, Hydro said.
