Technip Energies: contract with Samsung Engineering in Texas
(CercleFinance.com) - Technip Energies and Samsung Engineering announce that they have been awarded a pre-funding engineering contract for the Texas LNG project in Brownsville, US, for which they will create a joint venture.
Technip Energies has been appointed prime contractor, responsible for the project's design and delivery. The planned infrastructure includes an LNG export complex with a capacity of four million tonnes per year.
The Texas LNG project will incorporate Technip Energies' SnapLNG technology solution, developed in collaboration with Air Products, which combines a compact modular system for medium-sized trains with standardised components and technologies.
