Technip Energies: EPC contract for plant in Wyoming

(CercleFinance.com) - Technip Energies, in a consortium with Saulsbury Industries, announces that it has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to expand the carbon capture and storage (CCS) capacity at the LaBarge plant.


The Exxonmobil-owned plant, which is found in Wyoming, currently has the capacity to capture over six million metric tonnes per year. This expansion project will capture over one million additional metric tonnes of CO2 per year.

Under this contract, Technip Energies will be responsible for engineering and procurement services, while Saulsbury Industries will be responsible for the construction and installation of the pipeline.
