Philips Lighting: 2.2 million shares cancelled
(CercleFinance.com) - Philips Lighting has completed the cancellation of 2.
2 million shares which it repurchased for 71 million euros from former parent company Philips last February, the world's biggest lighting company said on Tuesday.
After this cancellation, Philips Lighting's share capital will consist of 138 million ordinary shares, including treasury stock of 1.5 million, meaning that the firm now holds around 1.1% of its own shares.
