ING: names former Google executive as Yolt new CEO
(CercleFinance.com) - ING said on Friday that it has named a former Google executive as the new chief executive of its fintech unit Yolt.
Nicolas Weng Kan, the former CEO of Google Compare, is replacing founding CEO Jan Frank Risseeuw, who has moved to a new role within the Dutch financial group.
As from 15 July, Weng Kan will be responsible for managing both Yolt, the money app, and Yolt Technology Services, a European open banking provider.
Both the Yolt app and YTS are ING units, forming two of the several ventures the bank has launched from its innovation lab.
