Ahold Delhaize: buys back 16 million euros of own shares
(CercleFinance.com) - Ahold Delhaize, Europe's sixth biggest retailer, said on Tuesday that it had bought back 811,500 of its own shares at 19.
8 euros each, for a total amount of 16.1 million euros.
These repurchases were made as part of the 1 billion euro share buyback program announced last year, it added.
To date, the total number of shares repurchased under the program is 29.3 million common shares, for a total of 638 million euros, the group said.
