Ahold Delhaize: buys back shares for 20.5 million euros
(CercleFinance.com) - Dutch-based food retailer Ahold Delhaize said on Tuesday that it had bought back 20.
5 million euros of its common stock under its stock repurchase program.
The supermarket group has repurchased 889,800 shares over the past week, at an average price of 23.05 euros per share, the company said.
These repurchases were made as part of the one billion euros share buyback program announced in November 2018, it said.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date amounts to 6.1 million shares for a total sum of 138.8 million euros.
