Ahold Delhaize: to create new parent company for US.
(CercleFinance.com) - Ahold Delhaize announced on Thursday the creation of Ahold Delhaize USA, a new parent company for its US businesses, and has appointed Kevin Holt as the unit's CEO.
The division will combine all of Ahold Delhaize's US names, including Stop & Shop, Food Lion, Giant, Hannaford, Giant/Martin's, and Peapod, as well as Retail Business Services (RBS), a US shared services firm providing support to the brands.
Ahold Delhaize USA will be directed by Kevin Holt, who is currently chief pperating officer of Ahold USA, effective as of 1 January 2018.
