Ahold Delhaize: issues Eurobond of 750 million euros.
(CercleFinance.com) - Ahold Delhaize has raised 750 million euros via a 7-year Eurobond issue in its first debt capital market offering as a combined group, the company said on Tuesday.
The Dutch-based retailer said the senior unsecured bonds - which will mature on September 2024 - were sold at an issue price of 99.474 per cent and carry an annual coupon of 0.875 per cent.
The securities were placed with a broad range of institutional investors across Europe.
The proceeds will be used to refinance existing debt and general corporate purposes, Ahold Delhaize said.
