56 million of its own shares over the last week as part of the 1 billion euro share buyback program that itannounced last December.
The Dutch-based retailer said the shares were repurchased at an average price of 17.45 euros for a total consideration of 27.3 million euros.
The stock closed at 17.76 euros yesterday.
To date 35.5 million shares have been repurchased for a total consideration of 675 million euros, the company said in a statement.
