Ahold Delhaize: files for deregistration with SEC.

(CercleFinance.com) - Ahold Delhaize said on Monday that it intends to file a certification to deregister its ordinary shares with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Netherlands-based retailer expects the termination to be effective after 90 days if the SEC does not object to its application.

As a result of the filing, Ahold Delhaize's obligation to file annual reports and provide other reports with the SEC will be immediately suspended.

Ahold Delhaize's ordinary shares will continue to be listed on Euronext Amsterdam and Euronext Brussels, and Ahold Delhaize's American Depositary Shares (ADSs) will continue to be traded in the over-the-counter market in the US.
