Altice Europe: reached targets in 2018
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday evening Altice Europe group announced that it had achieved all of its targets for 2018, a year of "transformation" that has enabled it to get back on track for a return to growth in 2019.
Thus, group EBITDA came in at 5.11 billion euros (36.2% margin), against 5.65 billion (38.7% margin) in 2017. Meanwhile, revenues fell -1.8% at constant exchange rates.
"Altice Europe has achieved all of its FY 2018 guidance, with the successful operational turnaround leading to very strong subscriber trends. The significant and continued investments in both fixed and mobile networks, as well as the consistent improvements in customer care, led to a material reduction in complaints from customers and significantly lower churn rates on all technologies," said Patrick Drahi, Altice's founder.
