Altice Europe: results down - subscriber numbers up
(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday evening Altice Europe, the parent company of SFR in France, announced a 6.
1% fall in its Q3 consolidated revenue, which was down at 3.44 billion euros.
The group's EBITDA also fell, dropping 10.4% to almost 1.3 billion euros, for a margin of 37.2%.
However, there is something to be pleased about: the group's main subsidiary, the French operator SFR, achieved its best quarterly performance in terms of new subscribers since 2005. This brings the number of new subscribers to 1 million since the beginning of the year, hence wiping out the customers lost over the past three years.
