Altice: separation of businesses begins
(CercleFinance.com) - As announced, today Altice has distributed Altice USA shares to its shareholders.
The separation of business activities in Europe and the US has therefore now begun. In doing so, Altice NV has become Altice Europe NV, with the other division called Altice USA.
In addition, Patrick Drahi has been appointed head of the Board of Altice Europe NV for a four-year term. Regarding Altice USA, the executive directors are Patrick Drahi, Charles Stewart and Gerrit Jan Bakker.
Patrick Drahi will be the chairman, and Charles Stewart co-chairman and CFO.
Altice Europe NV will begin listing under this name on 12 June on the Euronext Amsterdam market.
