Altice: wins broadcasting rights for basketball matches.
(CercleFinance.com) - Altice, reported on Monday morning that it has won the exclusive rights to broadcast Euroleague and Eurocup Basketball matches for four seasons, from 2017 to 2021, for France, Switzerland, Andorra and Monaco.
Thanks to the acquisition of these new rights, the SFR Sport channels, which already broadcast the ProA, ProB and Ligue Féminine French championships, as well as matches for France (men and women), will therefore reinforce their basketball offer by broadcasting, the most prestigious clubs in Europe from autumn this year.
Over the four seasons of the period 2017/2021, SFR Sport will broadcast the best of the group stages and final stages of the Euroleague, as well as the Final Four (semi-finals) matches. Over this period, the SFR Sport channels will also broadcast the Eurocup, which over the 2017/2018 season will include three French clubs: ASVEL, CSP Limoges and Levallois Metropolitans.
