Altice: new CEO for Portugal Telecom.
(CercleFinance.com) - The telecom and media group Altice announced the appointment of Claudia Goya as CEO of its subsidiary Portugal Telecom on Tuesday evening.
She will take office immediately.
Patrick Drahi's Dutch holding company underlined that Claudia Goya has over 20 years' experience in different business sectors, having worked for major companies, such as Procter & Gamble, Galp Energia and Microsoft.
Furthermore, Paulo Neves will become the group's chairman in Portugal. HE will take charge of the regulatory process for the recently announced acquisition of Media Capital, in addition to the coordination of Altice's Portuguese assets.
