Cnova: activity holds up well in the first half-year.

(CercleFinance.com) - This Tuesday morning, Cnova's accounts for the first 6 months of the 2017 financial year were marked by a net loss in activities pursued of 43.
5 million euros, against a deficit of 35.1 million in the previous year.

The current operational loss on its part comes out at 17 million euros, against a loss previously of 3.2 million in the first half of 2016.

The GMV (Gross Merchandise Volume) has however grown by 6.2% in published figures and by 10% like-for-like, to close to 1.46 billion euros. At the same time, net sales, established at 882.3 million euros, show a rise of 2.9% in published figures and 7.6% like-for-like whilst gross margins have risen by 1.3% in a year to 123.2 million.

Also worthy of note are the increases of 10% and 11% respectively in active customers and traffic to 8.4 million and 442 million visits.
