3% in Milan today, after the Italian/American car maker published adjusted net profit that was up a quarter at 922 million euros, representing EPS of 59 cents, against the consensus of 51 cents.
Adjusted operating profit rose by 17% to 1.76 billion euros, meaning a 1.1 point improvement in the group's margin to 6.7% on revenues which were down 2% at 26.4 billion euros. In terms of volumes, global deliveries remained flat at 1.12 million vehicles.
For FY 2017, Fiat Chrysler confirms that it is expecting adjusted earnings of over three billion euros, an adjusted operating profit of over seven billion euros and revues of between 115 billion and 120 billion euros.
