ASML: stock soars after solid Q3 results
(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday morning ASML Holding unveiled very solid Q3 results, which included net income of 680 million euros, up nearly 100 million euros sequentially.
EPS therefore reached 1.60 euro, higher than both the level in the second quarter (1.37 euro) and the consensus, which was looking for 1.57 euro.
Meanwhile, the semiconductor equipment manufacturer's net sales reached nearly 2.78 billion euros, up from the second quarter (2.74 billion euros).
Logically, the ASML share is soaring in Amsterdam today, currently up 6.8%.
