PostNL: Barclays upgrades its recommendation
(CercleFinance.com) - Barclays has upgraded its recommendation on PostNL to "overweight" with a target price increase to 3.
6 euros from 2.4 euros, in a note on the Dutch postal operator and its Belgian peer bpost (which it downgrades to "equal weight").
The broker considers that "the risk to forecasts is to the upside in both cases", but it sees PostNL as "relatively better positioned to benefit from e-commerce growth in the short term".
To justify this opinion, the financial intermediary highlights, on the subject of the Dutch postal operator, greater "flexibility in its sorting capacity" and its more selective approach in terms of volumes.
