Vopak: completes purchase of Dow Terminals
(CercleFinance.com) - Vopak has announced that its 50-50 joint venture with a BlackRock fund has completed the purchase of three major industrial terminals on the US Gulf Coast from the chemical company Dow for 620 million dollars.
Named Vopak Industrial Infrastructure Americas, the joint venture will have assets that are in close proximity to Dow's production complexes and will enter into long-term agreements with Dow for storage and infrastructure services.
Located in Freeport (Texas), Saint-Charles and Plaquemine (Louisiana), these three terminals together represent a capacity of 852,000 cubic metres. As a reminder, the acquisition of these assets was announced on 14 September.
