Euronext: 4% decline in cash volumes in August
(CercleFinance.com) - In its monthly update on Wednesday evening, Euronext said that its cash volumes (cash, excluding fixed income) fell by 4% in August sequentially, to just under 60.

The pan-European stockmarket operator said that, at around 2.63 million, average daily cash trading volume was down 12% last month, again compared with July.
Expressed in euros, cash trading volumes amounted to 199.8 billion euros in August, down 3% from the previous month, with the average daily volume falling 12% sequentially to 8.69 billion euros.
