Euronext: extends bid for Oslo Børs
(CercleFinance.com) - The pan-European stock exchange operator Euronext last night said that it has extended its bid at 158 per share on Oslo Børs, its Norwegian counterpart, until 6 May.
Remember that Oslo Børs is also in the Nasdaq's sights.
The European group reaffirms that it is already certain to reach the threshold for the deal to be successfully completed, which has been set at a minimum of 50% of the target's capital, thanks to commitments of irrevocable contributions relating to 45% of the capital, combined with the 8.1% stake in Oslo Børs that it already holds.
The Norwegian Ministry of Finance has yet to decide on the deal.
