Euronext: cash volumes down 16% in January
(CercleFinance.com) - Euronext has announced average daily transactions on the Euronext cash order book of 6.
7 billion euros on its cash markets in January 2019, down 16% y-o-y.
The pan-European stockmarket operator stated that transactions in ETF index funds fell by 28.3% y-o-y, with an average daily transaction value of 205 million euros.
The overall average daily volume on derivatives fell by 6.7% y-o-y to 523,542 contracts, while average daily volume on the spot foreign exchange market fell by 3.5% to 20.05 billion dollars.
