Euronext: change in CEO at Euronext Dublin
(CercleFinance.com) - Euronext has announced the resignation of Deirdre Somers as CEO of Euronext Dublin, and her replacement by Daryl Byrne, who has been head of regulation at the Dublin Stock Exchange since 2011.
Subject to the formal approval by an extraordinary shareholder meeting and no objections from the regulatory authorities, this new appointment, which has been decided on by the supervisory board will occur over the summer.
In this new role, Daryl Byrne will be responsible for debt and fund introductions, as well as ETF, and will be a member of the pan-European exchange group's board of directors. He joined the Irish Stock Exchange in 2000.
