3 billion euros in Euronext's cash markets in August 2017, up 14.6% y-o-y and up 20.7% relative to August.
With 16.9 billion euros exchanged, the session of 15 September saw an peak in volumes year-to-date.
Again on the cash markets, transactions on ETF (830 of which are listed on Euronext, compared with 790 at the end of 2016) fell by 1.2% year-on-year last month to 432 million euros, although were up 20.9% sequentially.
For derivatives, the average daily volume traded in September rose by 13.6% y-o-y to 501,591 contracts, although was down slightly (-0.4%) from August.
