Gemalto: working on secure connected vehicles
(CercleFinance.com) - Gemalto and Faraday Future will work together to deploy secure connected vehicles.
Gemalto will provide security and data encryption technology that will help protect the software that powers vehicles, as well as the data collected during its daily use.
Gemalto will work alongside Faraday Future to design, configure, and deploy a Microsoft Certificate Authority that will be integrated into their existing architecture.
"Gemalto's FIPS certified SafeNet HSMs are expected to be installed with Faraday Future's internal server and are specifically designed to process, store and manage cryptographic keys inside a hardened, tamper-resistant device, making them an anchor for trusted access to networks and individual vehicle data," the group said.
