(CercleFinance.com) - The digital security specialist Gemalto has announced that it will provide connectivity to Dessmann's new smart locking platform, which offers increased security compared with traditional locks.
The new solution integrates modules of machine identification and Gemalto's secure elements, which enables users to lock doors with their smartphones or create digital key-rings that can be used on several locks.
The mobile app can be used to create temporary or virtual spare keys remotely and thus simplifies joint tenancy services. For example, the solution can be used to monitor and know who has unlocked a door recently.
