Gemalto: contract with Carrefour for its C-Zam card.
(CercleFinance.com) - The digital security specialist Gemalto has announced that it will provide to Market Pay, a payment services subsidiary of retail giant Carrefour, with payment cards and its digital PIN solution for C-zam.
C-zam is the first current account available on shelves rays and in free service in France that can be activated online. This new account is sold in the form of a package that has been available at over 3,000 stores Carrefour in France since 18 April.
After opening the account, the credit card is ready to be activated and its PIN code is sent via the mobile application or web site Compteczam.fr. This operation is completely protected by Gemalto's encryption and authentication of systems.
