Wolters Kluwer: buys industrial software maker eVision
(CercleFinance.com) - Dutch publisher Wolters Kluwer has agreed to buy eVision, strengthening its position in industrial operational risk management software, for a price of 145 million euros.
Also based in the Netherlands, eVision provides environmental, health & safety, and industrial operational risk management software for the oil & gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, and other high-risk industries, the group said.
The company - which serves five of the oil & gas supermajors - posted revenues of 25 million dollars in 2017 and expects to achieve double-digit revenue growth in 2018, Wolters Kluwer said.
Wolters Kluwer will make its nine-month trading update tomorrow.
