Wolters Kluwer: names Novartis' exec on supervisory board
(CercleFinance.com) - Dutch publisher Wolters Kluwer said on Friday that it has named Novartis' Chief Digital Officer Bertrand Bodson as supervisory board member, a nomination that will be submitted to its shareholders in April 2019.
After obtaining an MBA from Harvard Business School and beginning his career at The Boston Consulting Group, Bodson has held various senior leadership roles at Sainsbury's, EMI Music, and Amazon, Wolters Kluwer said.
"His exceptional digital and managerial experience at global leading companies and his current role at Novartis will enable him to provide valuable insights and counsel as a member of the supervisory board," the company said.
The nomination will be submitted to the Wolters Kluwer's annual general meeting on 18 April 2019.
Following his appointment, Bodson will join the meetings of the supervisory board as from September 2019, Wolters Kluwer said.
