Wolters Kluwer: completes purchase of Firecracker
(CercleFinance.com) - Wolters Kluwer has completed the acquisition of Firecracker, a learning and study-planning solution that is currently used by 20% of US medical students, the Dutch publisher said on Wednesday.
Firecracker - which has 16 employees and is headquartered in Boston - uses a data-driven approach to improve medical students' learning in preparation for key examinations, including a platform that has over 85 million questions.
The deal was originally announced in early March.
