Wolters Kluwer: first-half numbers in line with expectations

(CercleFinance.com) - Dutch publisher Wolters Kluwer said on Friday that first-half performance was in line with expectations and reiterated its full-year outlook.

Revenue in the first six months of 2017 was up 4% in constant currencies and up 2% organically, while diluted adjusted EPS amounted to 0.99 euro, up 10% in constant currencies.

For 2017, the group continues to expect to deliver solid organic growth, to drive further margin improvement, and to grow diluted adjusted EPS at a mid-single-digit rate in constant currencies.

Wolters Kluwer also said it has reached an agreement to sell certain U.K. information and publishing assets to Peninsula Business Services for 13 million euros.

The assets include information services for HR, health & safety, and compliance professionals, and online and print publications for accountants and tax consultants.
