TomTom: launches new premium touchscreen
(CercleFinance.com) - Dutch location technology company TomTom launched a new premium service called TomTom GO Premium, which is aimed at covering every moment of a driver's route.
The service, equipped with TomTom's navigation and traffic information, has new features so drivers can stay connected to their home devices, interact with personal digital assistants, and get notifications, the company said.
For example, when the user arrives home, his gate or garage door will automatically open, and when leaving the house, the lights will switch off.
The fully-interactive touchscreen - which is being launched as the company celebrates 100 million TomTom navigation products sold - will be available at a price of between 329.95 euros and 379.95 euros, depending on its size.
