SBM Offshore: in talks with Petrobras for an FPSO
(CercleFinance.com) - SBM Offshore says that it has entered into takks with the Brazilian oil and gas company Petrobras for a charter contract for the Almirante Tamandaré FPSO (floating production, storage and offloading vessel).
The Dutch oil and gas group specifies that this FPSO will operate on the Buzios field, which is part of the Santos basin off the coast of Brazil. The unit has an expected production capacity of 225,000 barrels of oil and 12 million m3 of gas per day.
