SBM Offshore: Liza Destiny FPSO enters operation
(CercleFinance.com) - The Dutch oil services group SBM Offshore announced the entry into operation of the Liza Destiny FPSO floating production and storage platform, with maiden oil production last Friday.
The FPSO is located on the Liza fields, around 200 km off the Guyana coast in the Stabroek block, operated by the local ExxonMobile subsidiary. The latter has a 45% interest in the block, together with groups Hess (30%) and CNOOC (25%).
