ASM International: share buyback program complete

2% in Amsterdam today, the day after the group announced that on 29 March it had completed its 2017-18 share buyback program, which totalled about 250 million euros.
In all, the Dutch semiconductors equipment manufacturer repurchased 4,353,292 of its own shares at an average price of 57.43 euros (including fees) under this program that was announced on 22 September last year.
ASMI intends to reduce its capital by cancelling shares that it has repurchased after receiving the authorisation from its shareholders. The program was aimed at using its surplus cash to benefit its shareholders.
