Airbus: Nato Agency orders A330 MRTT
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced that it has received an order from the NATO Supply and Support Agency (NSPA) for an additional Airbus A330 Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT), bringing the multinational MRTT fleet to 10 aircraft.
The announcement follows Belgium's decision to increase its hours in the program, with an additional 1,100 flight hours per year.
The Multinational Multi-Role Tanker Fleet provides strategic lift, air-to-air refuelling and medical evacuation capabilities to its six participating countries: Belgium, the Czech Republic, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Norway.
