Airbus: Xiamen Airlines orders forty A320neo
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announces that the Chinese airline Xiamen Airlines has placed a firm order for 40 A320neo family aircraft to support the growth of its fleet.
The company thus joins the ranks of new customers of the European aircraft manufacturer.
Xiamen Airlines is a subsidiary of China Southern Airlines, the company's main shareholder: the latter also announced the contract with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
With orders galore, you'd have thought the share would be doing well today... however, it isn't (currently down 0.2%), albeit better than the market in Paris (-0.9%).
