Airbus: Credit Suisse raises target price

(CercleFinance.com) - Credit Suisse has raised its target price for the Airbus share to 106 euros, from 78 euros, while maintaining its outperform rating.

"We believe the A320neo outperforms its competitors (737MAX and C919) in terms of backlog, commercial positions, cancellation risks and operational costs vs older aircraft".

The analyst believes that the market appears to be overly cautious on the program: "We conclude that the stock price does not reflect the EUR70bn programme value that we forecast".

"We think this represents an attractive entry point given long-term opportunities," Crédit Suisse adds.
