Airbus: November order boosted by Dubai
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus, the European aircraft manufacturer, finished the month of November with 222 orders for civil aircraft, having delivered 77 planes over the period.
The Dubai Air Show was held in November, while Airbus exceeded the symbolic threshold of 20,000 civil aircraft ordered (20,058 precisely) since its creation.
Taking into account the latest orders and cancellations, the group's backlog included 7,570 aircraft to be delivered at the end of November, of which 81.8% belong to the A320 family of medium-haul aircraft.
