Airbus: delivers 1000th helicopter from Super Puma family
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus Helicopters celebrates the delivery of the 1,000th helicopter from the Super Puma family.
This is an H215 assembled in Marignane that was delivered to the German Federal Police (Bundespolizei).
It will be used by the maritime emergency center (Havariekommando) which operates off the German coast.
This helicopter is the last of an order of four H215 order placed by the German Federal Police. The German police's Super Puma fleet, which today is one of the biggest operators of Super Puma helicopters in the world, thus increases to 23 helicopters, including 19 AS332 L1.
The Super Puma is currently operated by nearly 100 clients in 59 different countries.
