Airbus: books 149 firm orders at Le Bourget
(CercleFinance.com) - At the 2019 Paris Air Show Airbus has received orders for 363 aircraft, including 149 firm orders and 214 commitments.
In addition to these agreements, airlines and lessors have also converted 352 existing orders, mainly for A321neo and the new A321XLR.
The group's A220 has been particularly successful, with 85 orders, as has been the case for the A330neo, for which Airbus has received orders and commitments for 24 aircraft.
The star of this year has been the new A321XLR - the next step in the evolution of the A321LR. This new model has received orders for 48 aircraft, commitments for 79 additional aircraft and 99 conversions of A321 into XLR. These orders have come from a wide range of clients worldwide.
